Chess Table

This chess table is light enough to easily move from room to room; yet solid enough to have a presence of its own wherever you keep it.

Cork separates the border from the interior allowing the wood to expand and contract as the seasons change.

Other materials are cherry, maple, quartersawn sycamore, and Brazilian cherry.
